Over $100,000 and still growing!

The RSE has now posted combined earnings reaching the $100,000 mark in only 7 weeks of operation. It's been a "bull market" and all teams have taken advantage of it and contributed to the amazing success. The Bankrobbers have led the NYC competition over the last few weeks with now over $30,000 in profit! Can they be stopped? Is a limo ride to Wall Street really in their future??

GM Fires 30,000, shuts 12 plants

In its latest bid to stave off bankruptcy, GM fired 30,000 workers or approx. 9% of its global workforce yesterday. The company has lost almost $5 billion this year alone. Experts believe that GM will leap off the bankruptcy cliff by Christmas. GM stock dropped 47 cents to 23.58 in heavy trading. Why have they lost so much money? How will effect the rest of the market? We can discuss it at our next board meeting.

Only 4 weeks to go!

With almost 6 weeks completed in the big NYC Stock Market Game, the Bankrobbers are still ranked #1 and in charge. They had another big week making over $8000. Of coursethere's still a lot of time remaining, over a month, and as we've seen so far anything can happen when it comes to investing in the stock market. The Benjamins and the Million Dollar Kids certainly understand that as they sit 3rd and 7th in NYC.

A Record Week!!

The RSE teams had a record-breaking week 5 combining for over $30,000 in profit! With an over $10,000 gain for the week, the Bank Robbers took over first place in NYC. Way to go! But it's still any teams game. The Benjamins are right there and hold the 3rd spot the in the city along with the Mini-Investors Inc. in 8th showing an impressive $6,000 week of their own. You can't count out any team yet. Just ask the Stock Stalkers and the Aces with their $7,000+ weeks. Wow these kids are good!

As we roll into November (week 4) the Benjamin's have charged into the lead passing by the Bankrobbers and the Million Dollar kids. But watch out for Mini-Investors Inc. who are currently 4th. They had a terrific week to get back into the action making close to $4000. We have a long way to go and all it takes is one hot stock to take control of the game...what team will find it first?
